Wasssssup Girls!!

       I am sure most of you all saw the Royal Wedding, and if you were a true royal wedding geek you probably got up early and drank tea and ate your crumpets while you watched it.
       The other day I was putting my 3 yr old daughter Brooklyn to bed and we were talking about the baby in my belly....and I had told her the other day when you grow up and go to school and get a good job, meet a nice boy who loves Jesus, and then get married....then you can have a baby in your tummy like mommy.
So as I was putting her to bed I said when do you get a baby in your tummy?? and she said said " when i grow up go to school, get a good job, meet a nice boy who loves Jesus, then get married, then i can get a baby in my tummy".
   Many of you right now are probably dreaming of one day meeting your Prince Charming right??? well  someday yes you will meet that Man.  Let me say that again.....MAN.   I have talked to quite a few of you girls about boys these days and how immature they can be.  You don't need boys to make you feel beautiful.  Many of you tell me that you have a boyfriend, now lets look at that word again Boyfriend. Definition of Boyfriend is a boy that is your friend and it's OK to have boys who are your friends but you don't need to date them until they turn into Men because right now they have COOTIES.
    When I was growing up I would tell people I have a boyfriend and we are dating but I really didn't know what I was saying because we never were allowed to go out on dates or do anything alone by ourselves, but it was the cool thing to do when you were 10,11, 12, 13 and 14. My parents had the rule that I couldn't date till I was 16 and I thought that was so not fair and I am sure many of your parents have the same rule in your house. You know something you may think it is not fair but I look back at when I was your age and I am glad that my parents had that rule because really you are not ready to date until you are 16 or actually older then that.  Trust me if I could go back and change a few things about my life I wouldn't have dated or( thought I dated ) half the boys I did.
    You have your whole life ahead of you and God has so much planned for your lives . Jer 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you saith the Lord. Plans to PROSPER you and not to HARM you, plans to give you a HOPE and a FUTURE. Boys these days don't care about those things but God does and he wants to use your talents and gifts you have and mold and make you into a Beautiful YOU-nique young Lady. Some of you were at the Jr high convention and came to the girls zone where I talked about the bar of soap and you saw the pics of the people who had carved beautiful things out of a single bar of soap.  Well God wants to do that with your life and he has already begun that since the moment you were inside your mama.  So remember that each one of you are You-nique and God has a special plan for everyone of you and he wants to use you, but he can't do that until you are ready to  be used. So stop concentrating on those silly boy creatures and focus on God because he has so much for you and he is ready to continue carving you (like the bar of soap) into something beautiful.
